The Chronicles of The Best They Ever Had

Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. -Acts 2:43-47

EXCITING!!!

So i'm really excited about this Friday night.....and you can be too! You may be thinking, "What is this excitement of which you speak?"

WELL, let me tell you--you can come to "The Gathering". There is gonna be some off-the-chain worship THIS FRIDAY NIGHT at Dorton Arena (thats at the state fairground in Raleigh for those who are not awares). Seriously though, i really am excited about it. I'm not sure exactly why i'm so pumped about it, but i'm taking it as a sign that God's gonna show up big and its gonna be an awesome worship experience. Friday night being the night that most people kick back, let loose, and dont worry about school work or anything, i think there'll be a freedom in the worship not usually experienced.

From the little that i've gathered, the service is a collaboration between a bunch of different campus ministries across the state (we even have three people from our worship team at NCSU helping lead during the service!). SO, that means that all of you that can get the transportation should come. Petra and Stephen, you could catch a ride from some people if need be and Jordan you could get a ride with me too.
ANYWAYS, this a great opportunity for a friday and i just wanted to let everybody know. Lemme know if you're gonna make it out!

Unless ya'll had an incredible experience with God in some other way tonight....i can say that you missed out on The Gathering. IT was incredibly awesome and i think thats an awesome way to spend a friday night. Hopefully next semester we'll get an encm guys bible study rollin for friday nights, which will be an awesome way to spend fridays as well.
Anyways, we got to worship in a bunch of ways with people from all over the state and JD Greer (a local pastor that has a big heart for college ministry) gave a really awesome message that speaks to any college kid in a big way.
In closing....it was sweet.
