The Chronicles of The Best They Ever Had

Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. -Acts 2:43-47

No Basketball Viewing For Me

I left Friday morning at approximately 7:45 AM with my backcountry skills class and headed for Mount Airy, NC for a little rock climbing fieldtrip. We climbed Friday, Saturday, and today, each day at a different location. I got a lot of fun and cool experience with setting anchors and tying a million different knots, as well as some pretty sweet climbs. We also slept in tents both nights and our group was adament about no showers in the bathhouse that was near our campsite. It was a good time with tons of good food (believe it or not - it was amazing, I ate better this weekend than I do on a regular basis).

On a different note, when I got back from the trip I checked my email and called home, and once again things are no fun on the homefront. My dad leaves for Colorado exactly two weeks from today, Tyler's a mess, and Mom's really stressed out. Not to mention Jessica is in Brazil dealing with some stuff right now, on top of a bout of homesickness. So...yeah. It's just tough right now, so just keep us in mind, maybe do a little chattin' with Jesus about it.

Anyways, 2 months until summer. Can't wait!
