The Chronicles of The Best They Ever Had

Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. -Acts 2:43-47

Again!

Tonight we prayed for our friend Tammie to be healed of the migraine she had and it went away! Praise God! Lets all be believing for God to move like this!

Hebrews 10:
"23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

That scripture (and the couple of verses before it) has been amazing for me the last couple of days! How's everybody doing??? Havent heard from a lot of yall in a while! How about everybody just do a quick post when you see this so we can see how everyone's doing?

Be blessed!!

God Works Miracles!

"Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles." This is from the heading of our blog. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited because tonight God did an awesome miracle of healing! Last night me and my roommate, John, were playing basketball in the gym with some random dudes. He went up for a rebound and came down on my foot and rolled his ankle. Some EMC and campus health center folks looked at it and saw it was swollen really bad. He was on crutches and couldnt walk at all. This morning when he got up he couldnt even bend it at all.
Last night we prayed for it and prayed some today. But tonight we were at an awesome college worship service at King's Park (we do it once a month now with all the area campuses, its been awesome and i strongly recommend it to Jo-Jo and Petra). A couple of us began praying for it, and then almost all the nc state crew were praying for it. Then one of the pastors leading the meeting called people up for praying for any physical ailments. Lead by one of the students, everybody gathered around and began praying for John. It got less and less painful, but one of the students said we should keep on pressing in. We kept on praying and when we stopped John started jumping up and down on it!!!! And you better believe we got giddy and started praising God!!! He really did heal it from un-walkable to 100% (minus a little swelling, but no pain)!!! Now John's off the crutches, and the only downside was he didnt have a shoe to wear back from the worship meeting.
Anyways, while i have seen miracles in meetings this is the first time i've had first-hand experience--where i was part of praying and laying on of hands and saw that person healed. You better believe that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do, and just a part of His overall plan for changing our campuses! When John got hurt, i knelt and prayed some for it (which was a step for me cause i've done that in front of people i didnt know before). While it wasnt healed there, thats just the beginning of what we need to be doing. So, i encourage us all to start stepping out and believing God for miracles on our campuses. It really is His will, but he'll only do it if we just start doing it and praying for those we see! (one girl testified about how recently her friends went to the store down the street from duke and asked pray for a blind woman--and she saw!)
Well i hope you're all doing well and can find encouragement and challenge from what God has done!
